Sailing's not all about constant action. In fact, a lot of the time it can be pretty boring. So, in this episode, we try to show a brief glimpse of how we fill the time in those moments between needing to actively sail the boat. We leave the Atlantic side of the Outer Hebrides and make our way back through the sound of Harris and down to the Isle of Barra. After making a quick stop to re-provision, we set sail again and headed down to the small island of Staffa. Here, we venture into the majestic Fingal's cave in our little dinghy and capture some great drone footage of the island just before sunset. The sailing continues the following day through the sound of Iona and back towards mainland Scotland. Al final el viento simpatizó con nosotros y nos dejó avanzar más rápido de lo que predecimos en el Cabo de San Vicente. Llegamos a Sines sobre las 6 de la tarde entretenidos con una familia de delfines que nos siguió durante horas. Fue un regalo atracar en el puerto y poder disfrutar de un paseo por este pueblo tan auténtico, que por supuesto estaba en fiestas. Desde Gibraltar, hemos coincidido con las fiestas de todos los lugares que hemos visitado pero sólo en Sancti Petri la llegamos a disfrutar como toca ya que subir Portugal conlleva una navegación más intensa y queremos descansar en cada ocasión que se nos presente. Descubrimos que no solo la música entretiene a bordo, también los podcasts y nada es más inspirador que escuchar las aventuras de los primeros navegantes que sin ninguna otra ayuda que un sextante, un compás, pluma y papel se aventuraban en busca de nuevos horizontes sin saber que iban a entontrar. Después de una noche de descanso, nos decidimos a seguir subiendo Portugal y conseguimos avanzar muchísimo más de lo planeado. Siguiente parada: Nazaré! Finalmente sono riuscito a portare avanti uno dei mille lavori di bordo. Non c'è cosa più bella di dormire in barca, ma è bello farlo al caldo e con tutte le comodità che ci fanno stare bene. Vi racconto le fasi salienti del progetto della chiusura del buco che c'è in fondo alla cabina di poppa, e di come mi sono cimentato nonostante non sia così portato per i lavori manuali! Ma il bello del mare è proprio imparare cose nuove e trovare sempre soluzioni.. L'histoire du club en quelques dates: 1866 Fondation de la Société des Petites Régates Havraise sous l’impulsion d’un yachtman Parisien, Louis MORE. 1888 Fondée en 1883, La Société des Régates Modèles prend le nom de Sport Nautique Havrais. Abel LEMARCHAND, propriétaire de chantier naval construisant des bateau-pilotes "Hirondelles de la Manche" telles que le Marie Fernand, est le premier président. 1952 Fusion de la SPRH et du SNH. 1970 Création par Robert CANU du Club Nautique Populaire du Havre, issu d’une association de CE d’entreprises industrielles de la région havraise. 1986 Le CNPH s’ouvre à l’accueil du public et devient École Française de Voile. 1992 En changeant son nom, le Club Nautique et Plaisance du Havre affiche sa volonté d'ouverture au grand public. 3 février 2007 Sous l'impulsion de Henriette Lemay et de Jean-Pierre Géron, la fusion du SNH et du CNPH donne naissance au Sport Nautique et Plaisance du Havre, perpétuant ainsi une offre nautique très large allant de la planche à voile à la course au large. Le SNPH est reconnu tant pour ses résultats sportifs que pour son expérience en tant qu'organisateur de manifestations nautiques.
