Ein Temperatursturz - in etwa eine Halbierung im Vergleich zur Vorwoche - hat die Segler auf der Ostsee vor Warnemünde kalt erwischt. Das hielt sie natürlich trotzdem nicht davon ab, den bekannten Kurs zu umrunden. Die ersten 3 Schiffe hatten einen komfortablen Vorsprung, dahinter ballte sich dann aber das Feld und bot einen spannenden Zieleinlauf am Leuchtturm - wenn auch bei einsetzender Dunkelheit. Uneinigkeit herrschte beim taktischen Einsatz des Spinakers - einige Yachten versuchten es auf beiden Halbwindkursen herum um die Reedetonne, andere erst auf dem Weg zur Warnemünder Mole. In jedem Fall fiel auch das Ergebnis hier sehr unterschiedlich aus - nicht jeder war glücklich mit seiner Entscheidung für oder gegen das Setzen dieses Segels. Es verbleiben noch 2 Wettfahrten bis zum Saisonende, aktuell sieht es aber so aus, als würde der Gesamtsieger schon feststehen. Aber bekanntlich ist die Segelsaison erst vorbei, wenn sie vorbei ist. Islas eólicas viaje setiembre del 2024 a bordo de un lagoon 50 del 2023 6 cabinas, 13 personas a bordo. Recorrido: Stromboli, realizando la excursión a pie hasta uno de los miradores para ver las erupciones del volcán, Panarea la isla de lujo, pero durmiéndotelas en la parte oeste viendo la la espectacular puesta del sol, Salina donde nos refugiamos en la parte este del viento y la tormenta, Filicudi espectacular la piedra vertical que sale del agua, Lipari la parte mejor es la del oeste donde tiene unos rincones increíbles con cuevas y playas, Vulcano la subida al Volcán increíble aunque no está en erupcionamos no decepciona ver el crater, en el agua en la parte este cerca de la playa las burbujas que salen del fondo del mar y su agua caliente impresionan. In this episode Saoirse departs Port Dickson Malaysia, stopping in Penang after a rough night of sailing with strong winds and lumpy seas. Parking at the Admiralty Marina in Penang, exploration begins with a tour of Fort Cornwallis, the historic base of the East India Trading Company. Then, we hike up Penang Hill and through the biosphere reserve at the top. Penang is known for their diversity of delicious food, and we find several great food courts with amazing variety and great prices. Next week, once the weather calms a bit, we'll continue to Langkawi, and take some time away from the boat, with a visit back to Canada. Thanks for following!
