They successfully won the Rating Division 4 on ORC AP, however they missed out by two points to Ray Robert’s Team Hollywood under IRC. The duo also give us some insights into what it is like to sail this lively design.

Cruce a Colonia desde el Club Náutico Albatros hasta el Puerto Deportivo de Colonia del Sacramento el 1 de Mayo de 2024, las condiciones meteorológicas eran de Viento SSE que comenzó en 14 Kts y fue aumentando hasta los 23 Kts con rachas de 28 Kts. Si bien hubo que hacer un par de bordes al superar el espeque de aguas seguras del canal costanero, una vez alcanzado el Norma Mabel (Olivos), ese borde nos permitió llegar a Colonia a pesar de ir muy de ceñida todo el tramo.

During this passage up the Sekonyer river from the town of Kumai, we saw Silver Langurs, Macaque monkeys, orangutans, proboscis monkeys, and more. Also sleeping birds,, tarantula spiders, carnivorous plants and giant ants during our night hike. Learn about orangutans, which are a primate species listed as critically endangered. What held the promise of a fine day under sail faded as we once again lost the wind. We have been blessed this Summer with either too much wind or very little to none at all. It can be frustrating.
