A Navigators course sent many of the boats racing around Jamestown in big breeze and wet weather. It was tough conditions for the race boats navigating the tricky Narragansett Bay with many of the Newport crews edging out the competition with their local knowledge.

Für 200THB (ca. 5,-€) mieteten wir uns einen Roller um die Gegend Pais zu erkunden. Im Jahr 2009 und 2011 erschütterte jeweils ein Erdbeben die Region. Ein Farmer verlor dabei seine fruchtbaren Felder, da sich die Erde hier zu einem großen Spalt auftat. Jetzt nutzte er diese Attraktion um zu Einnahmen zu kommen. Zwar verlangte er keinen Eintritt, doch verkaufte die Familie Essen und Getränke am Fuße des kleinen Berges. Wir stellten also unseren Roller ab und liefen hinauf zum Erdspalt. Noch besser als hinein zu blicken war in das „Land Split“ laufen zu können. Begleite uns auf unserer Reise um den Globus 🌍.
