Sehr eindrucksvoll demonstrieren uns die Mädchen und Dozenten Teile ihrer Schulung. Unglaublich mit was für einer Energie und Elan alle dabei sind. Ein starkes Selbstbewusstsein hilft den Mädchen, mehr für ihre Ziele auf ein selbstbestimmtes Leben und bessere Bildungsmöglichkeiten einzustehen. Dafür haben wir uns einen Katamaran gekauft, mit dem wir Anfang März 2021 von der französischen Atlantikküste auf die Barfußroute gestartet sind. Plötzlich beschleunigte sich mein Leben erheblich, ich verkaufte mein Haus, löste den Hausrat auf und begann Berge an Schiffsausrüstung anzuschaffen. „Leinen los!“ war für Anfang März 2021geplant – und so kam es auch, trotz Corona. Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich. Plan International ist ein internationales Kinderhilfswerk. Nach 41 Jahren hatte der TÜV unseren geliebten Eriba PAN stillgelegt. Da war guter Rat teuer. Was machen wir nun? In den Garten stellen? Verschenken? Nein, er wurde repariert und schweren Herzens verkauft. Einen guten Gebrauchten zu finden war dann aber gar nicht so leicht. Endlich klappte auch das. Es musste noch etwas gebastelt werden und dann ging es endlich auf die Straße. Testurlaub nach Dänemark -nach Vejers Strand. Mit einem ERIBA-Touring Triton 430 GT. Den Campingplatz hatten wir schon mit dem alten PAN besucht und wussten, was uns erwartet. Wir können ihn nur empfehlen. Überrascht waren wir trotzdem. So viel Platz für so ein kleines Wägelchen! Der Film entstand praktisch so nebenbei, weil ich so gerne Filme.

Haydens Haven is a 2008 Carver Super Sport 43 in excellent condition! Very low engine hours (Port 189 hours, Starboard 174 hours, Generator 217 hours), meticulously maintained, and always operated in freshwater.  She has twin Volvo 8.1L gas engines with 375HP each and onboard Kohler 10KW generator.  The twin engines along with the Bow & Stern thrusters and a back up camera make docking her a breeze! She features two staterooms and two full heads, each with a stand alone shower. Upgrades done in 2021 Bottom job completed using high grade ablative paint including all running gear (propellers, shafts and rudders) Fuel tanks and lines drained  and flushed Replaced all fuel injectors with new ones in both engines Installed new remote controlled spotlight on bow of boat All 12 volt batteries were replaced Installed new Simrad navigation, depth finder, fish finder and radar. Installed wireless remote for bow and stern thruster Installed new AM/FM radio in salon Installed new blue canvas cover for all bridge seats Replaced air compressor for yacht horn Replaced all fresh water and grey water pumps Replaced all smoke and carbon monoxide detectors Replaced all hand held fire extinguishers Installed new gas propane grill on stern In 2022 all engines, transmissions, and the generator had their annual services with all new fluids and filters. Had custom sunning cushions made for the bow sundeck. The Boat includes a full eisenglass enclosure that came with the boat when the current owner bought it.  It has been in storage for the past few years but will be included with the sale. DIAMOND LADY underwent a major refit in 2019/2020 with new Pipewelders hardtop, Eisenglass enclosure, new interior, new electronics, A/V equipment, non-skid decks, complete service of main engines & running gear, etc. In May 2022, new Flow Marine chiller installed, new air handlers in salon, A/C water pumps, new cooling pump for ZF transmissions and all new fuel and oil filters for mains and gens. In Dec. 2021 she received new bottom job, reconditioned props& prop speed along with new batteries and battery charger. Im Frühjahr 2020 erhielt ich die Diagnose Morbus Parkinson. Plötzlich beschleunigte sich mein Leben erheblich, ich verkaufte mein Haus, löste den Hausrat auf und begann Berge an Schiffsausrüstung anzuschaffen. „Leinen los!“ war für Anfang März 2021geplant – und so kam es auch, trotz Corona. Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich. Moving up from our Catalina 42 Mk 1 called Cakewalk we now feature the sailboat Isabella, a Super Mikado 56 made by the French shipyard CNSO. Sailing, partying, dancing, cooking, and sometimes pushing the limits. This sailboat had been neglected for some time when she was purchased. Lots of cleaning, sanding, refinishing, new lines, refrigerator, pumps, water heater parts, whole boat water filters, bow thruster, lighting, fuel filters, instruments, air conditioning, etc.... Some of the fun with refitting a sailboat is to be able to do economical but quality improvements. Elbow grease saves a lot of money, watching for sales, knowing when substitutions can be made that will last, and of course enjoying the final product. We previously were on a Catalina 42 Mk 1 called Cakewalk. We sail, fish (haha), dance, fly the drone, sometimes wear bikinis, DIY, ride the motorcycle, listen to great music, and enjoy life.
