We bought our 40ft sailboat in 2020 for £6000 and it’s been our home for the last 4 years! This is the first video (part 1 of 2) showing a few details about our sailboat with a little tour, including all of the things you might be interested in! Our battery setup, engine, sail plan and living arrangements! Hopefully an enjoyable watch. A few people have requested this video and we didn't quite know what to include or how detailed to be so I hope this appeases the sailors out there, and maybe even inspires those of you who are interested in an alternative lifestyle. Realizing there is a lot to cover we are breaking this into 2 parts. The part2 of this video next week will cover the actual cost of getting her ready for sea, and some of the costs over the last 4 year to give a accurate depiction of what it is like starting with an older sail boat.
