I wrote a small blog post about connecting my tillerpilot to my windvane. You can check it out here http://whitespotpirates.com/how-to-connect-a-raymarine-tillerpilot-to-a-windpilot-pacific/ Anyone of you have a similar set up on your boat? My Raymarine autopilot is not strong enough for my 8.5t aluminum Reinke Super 10. That is why I decided to try out what I had read from other boat owners with the same problem: to connect my autopilot to my Windpilot Pacific to reduce the needed power for stearing. I still have to test it out on the water...but it seems to work so far. I was just wondering if it could possibily damage my windvane with this set up, that is why I wanted to ask Peter Foerthmann of http://www.windpilot.com/ for advice. Let's see what he thinks about it... Ahoy, Nike & Karl ATTENTION: this is REAL TIME ;) Just mounted that thing yesterday! I know this is all very confusing with the timing and stuff...sorry for that.

ARROW was among the first of the West Solents to be built at Lymington in 1924, and the last of a lucky group of these ultra elegant and fast 1920s sports boats to be restored by Peter Brookes at Maldon through the 1990s. https://www.sandemanyachtcompany.co.uk/yacht/782/ARROW She has subsequently become arguably the best known of them, campaigned very successfully in two ownerships over 25 years in both Mediterranean and south and southeast of England classic regattas. ARROW is also unarguably the best equipped classic regatta package, optimised to compete under both CIM and IRC rules, and transported (and ‘dry sailed’ indoors) aboard her very own UK and EU-legal 19-tonne truck that is included in the sale. What is there not to like?!

We love walking the bridges of the world. This one is in Sparto Greece. The flowers were in full bloom in the summer and this is a beautiful bridge. Whenever we are off the boat @sailingeriskay we look for adventures to travel and see different parts of the world, off the beaten path where most don’t stop who drive by. We are so glad we did 🌸🌺 so worth it!

Shortly after the start of the 2024 Ardglass Race the team on GTR forgot that they were the second fleet to start and that there were a bunch of cruisers that that they need to pass on the way to the narrows. The mainsheet man heard the call of starboard and pointed out that they need to duck quick to avoid the right of way yacht. A quick ease of the main followed by a duck had GTR heading out the the building pressure on the right before taking over on the starboard and heading for the entry of the narrows. The team a bottom up boats hope you are enjoying our short bits from the 2024 racing season.
