Eco-friendly research vessel" with zero CO2 emissions and renewable energy, anchored at Osaka North Port. A ship that surveys marine plastic pollution while traveling around the world without using any fossil fuel is anchored at Osaka North Port. The moored "Race for Water" is a ship that has been sailing around the world since 2017, and uses fossil fuels because it uses electric power made from solar cells and hydrogen energy made from seawater. I don't use it. "After producing fresh water from seawater with this machine, it is converted into hydrogen here. This is the first time that this mechanism has been used on a ship in the world," said Saki Kobayashi. It means that we are holding marine plastic pollution surveys and seminars on environmental issues in various areas where we are mooring, and in Osaka we will hold an online seminar using zoom. The "Race for Water" will stay in Osaka until the 3rd of next month, and will continue to travel around the world until October next year. The Race for Water Foundation is dedicated to the preservation of the water and the oceans in particular. Today, seriously under threat from plastic pollution, it is imperative that this essential resource for life is protected. To prevent plastic waste from reaching the waterways and oceans by developing social models and business models that give value to plastic waste and hence encourage its collection. Cette série de shorts a été faite à la demande des auditeurs des histoires de mer qui désiraient comprendre les termes marins employés dans ces vidéos. Et quoi de mieux que d'apprendre le vocabulaire marin pour se sentir à l'aise sur un bateau, ce qui pourrait, pourquoi-pas vous aider à trouver un embarquement. Votre expérience et vos questions apportent beaucoup au groupe. Alors n'hésitez pas à laisser un commentaire. Kythira is an island that belongs to the Ionian Islands but is geographically located south of the Peloponnese and Crete, at the entrance to the Aegean Sea. This strategic position has historically made Kythira an important maritime hub. Over the centuries, the island has been influenced by various cultures, including the Byzantine, Venetian, and Ottoman civilizations. Kythira is known for its unspoiled nature, picturesque villages, Venetian castles, and stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters. We have moored at the quay of Kapsali Bay, which features a beautiful sandy beach and the characteristic white-and-blue houses of Greece. Here, I recorded a video overlooking the bay, with our catamaran as the only vessel in the bay.
