Ingredients 2 oz dark rum 2 dashes Angostura Bitters 1 dash Peychaud’s Bitters 1-2 tsp sugar/a sugar cube Ice Steps Add the sugar cube/granulated sugar and bitters to a rocks glass. Muddle the mix until the sugar dissolves. Add rum then stir for around 60 seconds. Add ice then stir for another 60 seconds Cut a piece of orange peel about the size of your thumb (be careful not to bend it). One of the most intimidating things for sailors and boaters pulling into Fort Lauderdale for the first time is dealing with the network of opening bridges on the Intracoastal Waterway. In Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding areas on the ICW the bridges open on a schedule with a request over the VHF radio. They monitor channel 9, and open every thirty minutes upon request.
