Ogni bella storia presenta un dramma. Il dramma sta alla base di ogni avventura. Non esisterebbero eroi senza problemi da risolvere. Per noi quel momento è rappresentato da un pontile spigoloso e potenzialmente molto dannoso. È mai possibile che navighiamo ovunque senza fare un graffio alla barca e appena prima del ritorno rompiamo tutto? Siamo parecchio attivati. Ed è un peccato, perché questo ormeggio è veramente riparato dal vento che questa settimana punta a sradicare l’Italia intera. Perciò scriviamo, telefoniamo, chiediamo aiuto a tutti. Nessuno può aiutarci perché nessuno ha parabordi da condividere. Quando ormai siamo rassegnati a piantare le tende in prossimità dei parabordi e a sistemarli al passaggio di ogni traghetto (che avviene molto frequentemente a proposito) compaiono Angelica e Fabio, due ragazzi di qui che hanno ricevuto il nostro SOS e si sono attivati subito. Che grandi! Pensate che i parabordi che ci portano non sono nemmeno di loro proprietà! Cioè noi così 🥹 Con tutto un altro umore proseguiamo con le lavorazioni del giorno, che finiscono molto tardi. Veniamo piacevolmente interrotti da Fra e Benni che ci fanno assaggiare i nodini, mozzarelline locali molto buone, poi scappano a cena e noi scappiamo al pc. Stasera lavoro al libro, che prende forma giorno dopo giorno. In mio aiuto vengono i reel del giorno, che raccontano pedissequamente i passaggi di questa avventura. Non vedo l’ora che possiate ripercorrerla insieme a noi attraverso le pagine del libro. Che sarà interattivo ve l’avevamo già detto? 🤐 A domani! C.

The new 64 Convertible’s unbroken S-shaped sheer flows gracefully from bow to stern. The swept-back black-masked windshield, pronounced hull and deckhouse feature lines and distinctive hull-side vents give the 64 an unmistakably Viking profile that is recognizable and admired around the world. The hull has been built with an engineered composite of fiberglass fabrics and coring that’s vacuum-infused with vinylester resin. Great stiffness and strength is brought to the structure while minimizing weight utilizing a calculated resin-to-fiberglass ratio. The structural bulkheads and fuel tanks (which are customized to the shape of the hull) are also resin-infused, and the hull-to-deck is through-bolted every three inches and fiberglassed from inside for a rock-solid union. The 180-square-foot cockpit is clean, streamlined and maximizes freedom of movement, with easy access to storage and service areas. The standard equipment list is extensive including lush rod holders; fresh and raw-water wash down systems; transom fish box with live well, rounded coamings with indirect rope lighting below; side lockers for tag stick and gaff storage; quick disconnect fitting for oil changes for the engines, transmissions and generator; port and starboard in-deck insulated fish and stowage boxes and optional in-deck live well; and stereo speakers. The layout of the flybridge makes excellent use of space, providing a variety and abundance of seating and storage. In addition to the helm and two companion pedestal chairs, there’s lounge seating to port and starboard with storage below. A third two-person lounge with fold-down armrests (and massive freezer beneath it) is integrated into the console’s forward end. In the four corners of the flybridge you’ll find more smart storage solutions, including a sink and a refrigerated drink box. The interior of the Viking 64 offers an ideally open layout with a walkway that extends in a straight line from the salon all the way to the forepeak, heightening the sense of interior depth and space. The spacious salon has ample room for guests to sit and relax while the galley is fully-equipped for preparing meals and providing storage. There are four staterooms below deck including the master and forward guestroom which are both ensuite and offer queen berths. The forward stateroom has the option of being built as a crossover berth. The Viking 64 Convertible will also be available in the Enclosed Bridge model.
