Here's a glimpse of the upcoming build series of my new tender to Flying Spur! The mast sections are mated together by an inner-ring of epoxied carbon fiber tape The sail was cut from tanbark cloth by Sailrite. I assembled everything from there I decided to use a mast track instead of the common "zippered sleeve" for reasons of simplicity and durability. A small shim was used to "ramp" the track between the different-sized mast poles, and it glides really well. Music: "The Bottom of The Ocean" by Matt Garver

After a rough but fun return from English Harbour (about 35 miles) we completed the final approach under engine and took in the sunset across Bodrum. Shortly afterwards I stacked it in the marina but fortunately that's not captured on video! [] www.followtheboat.com [] * tales from the high seas *
