Yacht gathering at the equator. Pacific crossing part 1

Part one of our Pacific crossing from Panama to Hiva Oa in the Marquesas archipelago. The preparation, visas, debris and squall dodging as well as bird watching on our foredeck mid-ocean! We joined three other catamarans on the equator for Neptune's right of passage ceremony to re-affirm our previously gained Shellback status and no longer Pollywogs. We also paddled across the equator by surfski and swam in the amazingly blue 2000m deep abyss!
