With a Little Help from My Friends (Calico Skies Sailing, Ep. 56)

Behind the scenes of cruising life there is a huge heaping pile of kind-hearted souls providing support and helping us through rough patches. These people are always ready to lend a hand with a project or boat fix, give advice, share knowledge and resources, and be a listening ear when the challenges are mounting and some good quality venting is much needed (We LOVE our life but a vacation it is not 🙃). Our support network became even more necessary during the Covid 19 pandemic. In this episode our friends Andy and Charli, having the biggest and fasted boat of our group, leave the Ragged Islands and make a trip to Georgetown to provision, kindly bringing back food for us as well. We take precautions, wear masks and sanitize everything. Andi and Charli have made quite the sacrifice and will have to quarantine now before re-joining the group activities. We are beyond grateful to them. Later on we get lucky again when our other friends, Ryan and Jerra, who will become part of the core Covid 19 crew, arrive from Saint Martin and bring food for us as well. The beauty of the Bahamas is truly remarkable and in this episode, Bill and I take it in from the perspective of our kayak and paddle board.
