Windlass Part 2-Deck Rebuild-Rebuilding so we can cut it back out....(Boatlife Season, Episode 22)

Windlass series...This is Part 2 of 3 of the WIndlass removal, repair, and install. In this episode we go through the process of the rebuilding the deck where the old windlass was. This process took several days as we had resin and epoxy that had to dry between layers. We also had to have a machine shop fabricate us a stainless steel plate to mount to the top of the deck. Slowly it is all coming back together but we had no idea how big this project had become. At least our existing deck had no rot or delamination anywhere.
