Lanzarote Island in the Canaries. The island of 100 volcanoes and many wonderful people. I explore part of the island and meet a fellow Swiss for cheese fondue on his Joshua sailboat as well as a former Parisian who’s been on the island ever he since he sailed here 30 years ago. My home is at Marina Lanzarote in the capital city of Arrecife where my brother Stephane joins me and we stumble on yet another local festival.
