Refitting the huge rudder on a Hans Christian is a massive challenge. It requires pin point accuracy to position massive oversized bronze fittings precisely in line and them literally beat them with a hammer! We also have the whole drive train to rebuild with a new Bruntons prop with blades that swing through a large area forward and backward when we reverse, so will we be able to position that with room to swing in the small aperture we have between the rudder and the hull?
