The reason for hauling out had been a tiny little hole in my aft cabin below the water line. At the same time, we wanted to try and fix the hole in my diesel tank. To reach said hole, I had removed a stainless steak water tank which had revealed a whole bunch of lead bars. I had feared that there would be some corrosion hiding below those bars which is why I had not tried to remove them in the water...I guess, this precaution was a clever move...but see yourself...
