And we certainly didn't expect this season in the Bahamas to include the last time we would ever sail aboard Seawind. But, life takes you on a wild ride if you let it, and boy did we buy a ticket to a crazy new chapter! After 10 days at home, finalizing the loan papers, visiting family, and contemplating what the heck we were doing with our lives, we flew back down to Seawind, on New Providence in The Bahamas, We say goodbye to this beautiful archipelago and and sail 160 NM to Fort Lauderdale. OH and we actually get BUMPED by a WHALE! After seeing the recent news about the boat in the Pacific Ocean that got sunk by a whale collision in minutes...we were happy to have had such a gentle bump by one of these giants.
