We get a new crew member! After a lot of begging and some tears the boys dream finally came true and they got a dog! Ruby, a Havanese puppy has joined us aboard Hangtime and has certainly made the boat feel even more like a home. She has a sweet temperament, doesn’t make a lot noise and loves to snuggle. We enjoyed a memorable evening in Mabou, Cape Breton at the family square dance and then sailed 170 miles to Newfoundland. We were in awe of the rugged beauty, harsh landscapes and warm people. We worked hard in our 20's and 30's and built a company that has an amazing team managing it and allows us to work remotely and take time to enjoy this time with our fmaily. We love adeventure, sports and an active lifestyle but also take pleasure in a great meal or a sunset gin and tonic. Boat life is challanging and busy but we have been learning as we go and have a great appreciation for the sailing community and the willingness of others to teach and share skills. After two seasons in the Caribben we're hoping to Hangtime through the Panama Canal and onto New Zealand in 2021.
