This week, our journey takes an unexpected turn as a sailing family we met in Galinhos, Brazil, joins us aboard our floating home, after their sailing catamaran was tragically shipwrecked in the Lencois river system. Together we crossed the Pará River to the island town of Soure, Marajo - buffalo country. This part of Brazil has surprised us in every possible way: the kindness of the people, the unexpected tropical river beaches the buffalo riding police force, and of course our new shipwrecked crew, everyday feels like a plot twist, and you're with us for all of it.
