We did it! We bought a Lagoon 440 Catamaran! [Ep. 1]

July 2018 In this first episode, we dive right into the trip to Florida to look at 3 Lagoon 440 Owners Version Catamarans. In future episodes, we will explain a bit more about why a Catamaran and why Lagoon. We moved to Virginia from California in 2015 and always knew we would buy a sailboat, but it wasn't until a fated trip back to Cali for work that we decided to pull the trigger. We didn't initially plan to live aboard and sail to the Bahamas (which is where we are now), but that is, in fact, how it would turn out. During July-August, as we searched for Lagoon Catamarans, and found our dream boat, we almost lost the dream altogether. But this first episode is really just about the initial process of making the decision and acting on it, including giving almost all of our stuff away.
