Having just arrived in Brest from Falmouth the previous day, it was a quick turnaround when our weather window for the bay came. 2 days, 8 hours and over 300 miles later, we arrived in Gijón after quite the adventure. Trouble is- we were in a pandemic, had a university degree to finish, on a student budget, only had ever sailed dingies, oh and didn’t have a boat.
