Narrower and lighter than most of its competitors, it manages to significantly limit its fuel consumption. Turkey's boatbuilding industry has a long history and can boast some significant expertise - not dissimilar to Polish shipbuilding know-how... so it's not surprising that a direct competitor of Sunreef, the undisputed leader in semi-custom luxury catamarans, is presenting a multiyacht recently built in Istanbul. But unlike Sunreefs, which are built in composite, the Vision F80 is therefore aluminum. On the foredeck, a crane can be used to launch the RIB, freeing up the aft platform. Plus étroit et plus léger que la plupart de ses concurrents, il parvient à limiter de manière significative sa consommation de carburant. La construction navale en Turquie profite d’un ancrage historique et de compétences très solides – un peu comme le savoir-faire polonais en la matière… Dès lors, rien d’étonnant à ce qu’un concurrent direct de Sunreef, leader incontesté des catamarans de luxe semi-custom, présente un multiyacht construit tout récemment à Istanbul. Mais, contrairement aux Sunreef, fabriqués en composite, le Vision F 80 est donc construit en aluminium. Sur le pont avant, une grue permet de mettre à l’eau un semi-rigide, histoire de libérer la plate-forme arrière.
