Varnishing

If you're currently locked down on your boat or just planning what you're going to do when you get back to her, take the opportunity to get on with some varnishing. We have a lot of varnish on Fair Isle so I get a plenty of practice applying it! I've found Epifanes to be the best high quality varnish, but it's hard work to apply and maintain. Because of this I only use it in select places and I use International Woodskin everywhere else. This is MUCH easier to deal with and still looks good. Check out this video for lots of tips.
