Vanuatu to New Caledonia and BEYOND! PART 1 | Sailing with Six | Ep 41

We need to make a move and head to safer waters outside the cyclone zone for the summer. We have chosen to sail to New Zealand and spend the season exploring the waters of Kris & Shona’s birthplace. Cyclone season in the South Pacific runs from the beginning of November through to the end of April. To get to out of the cyclone ‘box’ it will require leaving Vanuatu, sailing to New Caledonia and then finding the right weather window to head South to New Zealand - a passage not to be taken lightly but to be planned and calculated with respect. You also get the treat of meeting our friend Neville who joins us for the New Caledonia to New Zealand leg of our journey. Come along as we cover the first half of our Southern migration.
