Mark “The Sailing Professor” Orams, who sailed aboard Steinlager 2, has made these historic “leg winners” shirts from his personal collection available for sale. These shirts were awarded to the team for each leg of the 1989 Whitbread, and there were only 15 ever made. This set of 6 is likely the only one still together! It’s unlikely we’ll ever see another boat dominate like Steinlager 2 did, winning all six legs of the race.
