November 2018. Wind speed : 10 to 12 knots. A prototype of the Tiwal 2 inflatable sailing dinghy gets a test sail by designer Marion EXCOFFON in the Gulf of Morbihan, France. Marion’s feedback: « I am very happy. I have been working on this boat for eighteen months now. The boat sails well. She’s fun, responsive and well balanced. The sail still needs some work though. The sail turns out to be always one of the most difficult pieces to design on a Tiwal. We don’t want to use a regular boom. Not safe enough. In addition, this new sail can be rolled around the mast for easy storage and rigging. This is another constraint. A new challenge.
