One of them was the woman solo sailor Mareike Guhr, a former journalist who has given up life on land to devote her life to sailing, teaching sailing on board her catamaran Moana and volunteer working in remote places of the world as "sailing boats are the perfect vessels to reach these" (quote from Mareike).
