The Scariest Sail of Our Lives....

Today we tell the story of the scariest sail of our lives… 12 days ago, we set out to cross a large portion of the Indian ocean..from Cocos Keeling to Chagos. But along the way, one of our rudders broke off of the boat in addition to a bunch of other things breaking. So we had to re-route our sail to the Maldives where we would have a better chance of repairing our boat. Figuring out how to sail the boat efficiently without a rudder in one of the most aggressive oceans on earth presented quite the challenge. But we eventually found our rhythm, and for the past few days we have been enjoying the ride.
