Now that the crew has reached the south island of New Zealand, it's time for their first BIG test as they RACE against the currents of the French pass. In this type of narrow crossing, where wind and currents are prone to radical shifting at the snap of a finger, timing is paramount. These are the situations where any small mistakes or misjudgments while sailing the boat could end in a catastrophic fashion.
