From months of craftsmanship at the Seawind yard to commissioning and sea trials from our home port in Saigon, every Seawind must prove itself on the water before delivery. The Seawind 1600 Passagemaker represents more than four decades of multihull design and offshore sailing experience. Built by hand by our dedicated team, each vessel reflects Seawind’s commitment to quality construction, thoughtful design, and reliable passagemaking capability. Before leaving the yard, the boat undergoes a comprehensive commissioning and quality assurance process. Systems are tested, sails are hoisted, and the vessel is taken through busy shipping channels into open water where the team carefully evaluates sailing performance, onboard systems, and overall functionality.
