At first glance, that sounds almost impossible. After all, large yachts require enormous amounts of energy, not only for propulsion but also for air conditioning, refrigeration, lighting, hot water and all the other systems needed to create a luxury environment at sea. So how can a yacht of this size operate without conventional power?
