Steinlager 2 - 30 years on...

Join broadcaster PJ Montgomery and original crew member Mark Orams and Tony Rae as they reflect on the 5th edition of the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race, and Steinlager 2's new purpose on the 30th anniversary of winning the race. Steinlager 2 is owned and operated by the NZ Sailing Trust alongside Lion New Zealand (the Ron Holland Maxi) from the 4th Edition of the Whitbread Ocean Race. Both Steinlager 2 and Lion New Zealand have been extensively refitted by the trust at New Zealand's Yachting Developments Limited and today are used for youth development and leadership programmes.
