I am getting my sailboat Karl ready for the next solo sail to Ecuador in Bahía Solano. It seems like I had a little guardian angle looking after Karl whilst I was on a short visit home in Germany. Unfortunately, this little protector also thought of Karl as his private toilet...shit! Both Joana and Karl have an aditional stern anchor out because of the crazy roll and tidal currents which makes fuelling up and filling the water tanks a bit of a challenge. Karl's sails need some more stitching and I try out my little speedy stitch that I found in one of my boxes. Well well well, at least Karl seems ready for the 500nm solo sail dowm to Ecuador...
