Sole Mate is one of the few vessels of her size successfully achieving the distinction of being both an exceptionally comfortable live-aboard cruiser and an outstanding sailing performer. Her exterior is that of a contemporary, low maintenance, sleek center-cockpit fast cruiser. Very similar to a Hylas, Taswell, and Passport without the exterior woods. Her interior is a warm contrast, with elegant high gloss varnished matching teak, beautifully made by her builder, the well respected Hansa and Shiffbau yard. The Macintosh 47 cutter is an extremely high quality yacht with tremendous attention to detail. 16 of these custom blue water yachts were built.
