Snow Gum - engine noise - Garcia Exploration 45

Hello everyone. Here’s a recording of the engine noise from inside the saloon and in the cockpit, with the engine warming up at a touch over 1000 rpm. I was observing the sound level using Decibel-X, with an A-weighted scale. When I wasn’t talking the level was in the 58 to 60dB range. If I did speak, the level jumped up, so there’s a clue.
