SI #946 (Tue 18 Aug 26) — The 2026 470 World Championship in Enoshima, Japan, has come to an end. British sailors Martin Wrigley and Bettine Harris claimed the World Championship title after two very demanding Medal Races on the final day. The silver medal went to the German team of Theresa Löffler and Christopher Hoerr, while the Spanish team of Jordi Xammar and Marta Cardona took bronze. It was the largest 470 Worlds since the Olympic class was forced by WS to go mixed gender.
