Setting Sail on an EPIC PACIFIC ADVENTURE EP. 48
[ SUPPORT US ON PATREON ] https://www.patreon.com/sailingseawind [ ONE TIME CONTRIBUTIONS ] https://bit.ly/3e5YE78 From the Tropical Bahamas to the Pacific Northwest. Part 2 of the adventure is full of boat projects, exploring Seattle, rigging work 70 feet off the ground, and FINALLY setting sail for the Pacific Ocean! First stop Port Townsend, WA. A place Katy and I have been connected to through our boat projects on Seawind, buying supplies from places like Port Townsend Foundry. Sailing on the Puget Sound is breathtaking. The deep water means that a stiff breeze won't develop chop like other shallower bodies of water we have sailed on. The wind is cold, the sun is shining, and the three of us couldn't be happier to embark on our voyage. Crew morale is high as we hoist the sails and race upwind, getting to know Southern Cross, our trusty steed. She's a fast boat, and a prime example of the Tartan breed. We hope you enjoy this long form episode clocking in at almost 40 minutes. Cheers!
