Salty Quicky #140 - Chartplotter Went Out before Gulf Crossing!
Want to support the podcast? http://patreon.com/SaltyAbandon One and half days before crossing the Gulf, my chartplotter was looking bad! I had to pull something out of a hat quick! I had a hard time finding a Garmin 740 series (the size that fits my casing) but finally there was one in stock at Pensacola West Marine! So my old one is GPSMAP 740s and the new one is GPSMAP 742sx.....so this is a two generation upgrade. Fun toy to play with as we go across the Gulf. Hopefully all of my connected electronics will work seamlessly. The video ended before I was done telling the story because my SD card was full.
