RS Fest is all about bringing sailors together - not just across multiple RS classes, but of all abilities too! After seven years of sharing stories, experiences and training tips online, Christian Buhl of California Inclusive Sailing (CIS) and Jim Thweatt of Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) finally met in person at RS Fest 2026. In this video, Christian shares how their connection through the Adaptive Sailing Community online grew into a real-life friendship - and how sailing is helping make a difference for people of all abilities.
