Our prop fell apart see leaving us to sail over 100 nautical miles back to port in the doldrums... https://www.sailingnandji.com In this episode, we make the decision on where we should try and sail too for repairs. As we have sailed in circles but are now getting closer to our destination, we can start using the dinghy outboard to try and motor us sparingly towards land. Life in the doldrums is full of long periods of light winds, throw in an opposing current it is difficult to make headway. But life onboard floating around the Malacca Strait is not actually that bad. We have accepted we need to to turn around and are now enjoying the journey once again.
