We head out to sea in fog and despite rounding two windy capes we get a good sail to Fort Bragg, California. When we’re here in northern California we can’t miss to visit the Redwoods, the world’s largest trees! We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat Ran, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter in January 2016.
