This week, our sailing boat Teulu took us deep into the hidden mysteries of the Pacific Northwest. A quiet stop in Sturt Bay for blackberries led us further north, where we heard whispers of a dark story on Cortes Island. Then, further along our passage, we stumbled across ancient pictographs etched into the rocks of Walsh Cove. Their meanings are long obscured — were they fishing markers, shamanic visions, or messages from another world? Whatever the truth, they carry knowledge that once stretched far across these waters.
