Sailing Saoirse-We are tightening up the rig & wondering if plumbing on a yacht is ever simple(EP17)

Is plumbing on a yacht ever an easy task? It seems not. There are always little things that go wrong like upside down mounted water pumps, wrong sized hoses, wrong sized pipes, and the dreaded LEAKS. We navigate our way through plumbing up our Island Spirit Catamaran while in the middle of a yacht refit WHILE living on board. This is all a juggling act and we are learning along the way. We also tighten our rigging up with the help of the one and only Chris Boock, Colben learns how to climb up the rig and tighten the shrouds. Finally we figure out what is wrong with our salt water pump, we get the salt water connected to our toilets and we connect our deck wash. Follow our journey with us, for now we are refitting but hopefully we will be adventuring in the near future.
