Sailing ORIZON #53 - Gewittrige Ankernächte bei Lefkas

Sailing ORIZON - Segeln im Mittelmeer... Der Medicane ist durchgezogen und wir segeln von der Bucht in der wir abgewettert hatten wieder südwärts. Machen bei dieser Gelegenheit nochmal einen Stopp in der traumhaften Two-Rocks-Bay. Nun geht es nach Lefkas und die Wettervorhersage meldet die nächsten Tage viele und starke Gewitter, also steuern wir gleich mal die Tranquilbay bei Nidri an und erleben dort ein sehr heftiges Gewitter in der Nacht mit fast 40kn Wind. In den Regenpausen sind wir in Nidri unterwegs und wandern auch gleich mal zum Wasserfall, was nach Gewitter und Erdbeben eine spannende Sache ist. Es gibt noch einige Gewitter und starke Regengüsse und deshalb verlegen wir uns in die große Vlychon-Bay, da ist viel Platz zum schwoien. Of course, take this opportunity to make another stop in the beautiful Two Rocks Bay. Now we are going to Lefkas and the weather forecast reports many and strong thunderstorms for the next few days. We drive directly to Tranquil Bay near Nidri and experience a very violent thunderstorm at night with a wind of almost 40 knots. In the rain breaks we are out and about in Nidri and also hike to the waterfall, which is an exciting thing after thunderstorms and earthquakes.
