Sailing ORIZON #52 - Flucht vor dem Medicane

Sailing ORIZON - Segeln im Mittelmeer... Die nächsten Tage stehen die Inseln Ithaka und Kefalonia auf dem Plan. Aber es kommt anders... Am Abend in der Vathi-Bucht bei Ithaka checkt Andi die Wind- und Wettervorhersage und entdeckt ein sehr großes Tief, dass die nächsten Tage auf die ionischen Inseln treffen soll. Die Windgeschwindigkeiten in Böen werden mit über 100 Knoten angegeben, die Zugrichtung über Kefalonia und Zakhyntos. Ithaka scheint uns nun nicht mehr so klug und wir ziehen wieder nach Lefkas in die sehr schöne Bucht Ormos Desimi. Wir beobachten weiter den Windy und laut diesem entwickelt sich das Sturmtief zu einem Medicane! Das ganze sieht heftig aus und so beschließen wir spontan vor diesem Ding zu flüchten. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia are on the agenda for the next few days.
