One, we don't feel particularly vulnerable to damage by orcas and two it would have been very dangerous to go sail close to shore with the large Atlantic swell we had rolling in. So although the sailing was a little bit testing at times we really enjoyed the trip, it was great to be back in the ocean and we had some lovely places to visit.
