Sailing Lake Powell 2016 Episode 5 - Balanced Rock - Rainbow Bridge - MacGregor 26M: Galactica

Episode 5: Sailing from Balanced Rock Canyon, we enjoyed some great sailing all the way to the entrance of Forbidding Canyon just past 49 mile can. We motored up Forbidding Canyon to the cleft entrance to Rainbow Bridge. It's a pretty hike back to the 300' tall natural bridge with dinosaur tracks at the end of the public trail. Leaving forbidding canyon, the winds had picked up quite a bit and we had to motor to Dangling Rope Marina. Afterwards, it was a fun sail to Wetherill Canyon. We sailed all the way back into the canyon amongst narrow twisted channel which was a lot of fun! I have been trying to keep these vignettes 7 to 9 minutes long. This one ran long--and I left out so much cool go-pro footage from Forbidding Canyon!
