After sailing around 1.000nm since leaving Panama, KARL is finally reaching the Rio Dulce in Guatemala, where we will spend the hurricane season. We had a nice and fresh last sail from Guanaja and entered into the Rio, where we motored through a limestone canyon covered with lush green forest - breathtaking! We parked Karl in Mar Marine and after a short break (me flying home, not a break in UNTIE THE LINES, no worries ;)) it will be time for some boat work during hurricane season!
