Sailing and Anchoring at Dana Point (September 2021)

In this episode, Capitana KEG joins as crew and we have an evening sail to Dana Point. Record numbers of cargo ships and tankers anchored and driving off the coast make night navigation a little more interesting. After anchoring in Dana Point, Capitana KEG picks me up for a sail on Ohana, a Cal 27-2. We hoist the spinnaker (sans pole) and have a nice run off the coast. On the return, we find Keeldragger has been boarded by pirates. Not real pirates, just Eddie and Melanie getting into the booze and having a good time!
